Justin Pollard, on Jeff Dicus' attention to detail

“He was extremely intense, very into everything he was doing and very, very detail oriented. With the coaches before, we could go out and run through drills, then go do something else and try to get to some teamwork. When he came in, we didn’t go out to a single practice not knowing exactly what we were going to be doing, knowing what was expected. He only had a certain amount of time to work us out, and he was going to get every possible thing out of that little bit of time. He had every practice detailed out too. Two minutes for this, seven minutes for this, and so on. As soon as the buzzer went off for the end of that time period, you moved to the next drill without missing a beat. It was organization like we’d never experienced.”
