Jay Plotkin and Max Thompson have covered, watched, suffered through and enjoyed Lake Travis football for a combined 20 years.
Jay
Plotkin spent 15 years covering and following Lake Travis athletics while at the Lake Travis View. He joined the staff in 1996 and covered Lake Travis High School sports full-time from 1996-2000 and part-time from 2000-2011. He served as sports editor, editor and publisher (often at the same time) until leaving the paper in 2011.
For his money, Mark Kuenstler remains the best pound-for-pound LTHS football player he ever covered.

Thompson spent nearly five years covering Lake Travis athletics as the sports editor at the Lake Travis View, where he worked from 2007-2011. He won multiple Texas Press Association awards for his coverage of Lake Travis football from 2007-2011 and is currently a Sports Editor at Yahoo!.
Wyatt Church is still his favorite LTHS Cavalier of all-time.
