I just finished it, and I found it thoroughly enjoyable. This is remarkable in part because I'm not much of a sports fan. But you guys made it a great story — sports or not.

One aspect I really liked is how you built so much of the narrative using the voices of others. You pieced together quotes from the participants to let them tell the story, and then you provided the connections, details, and segues. It reminds me of Studs Terkel as a story-teller. Well done.
